So I went and bought a serial cable for the i705. Any tricks in getting
it to work? They just don't seem to want to talk to each other. Could
it be that this 3rd party (Belkin) cable is doing something funky? It
is a combo serial/USB cable. Do I need to change some setting on the
i705?

Thanks,
Paul
