I am brand spanking new to car repair and am looking for a good tool... If I were to ask you for recommendations, I think you'd probably ask me what in particular I want to work on. Same with your question. What do you plan on doing as a PalmOS developer? (games? utilities? productivity apps? just for fun or commercial? how much money can you afford to spend? what language(s) are you familiar with? ...). I use Codewarrior 7 and am overall pretty happy with it. It has its quirks here and there, but I am used to worse problems from other (non-PalmOS) tools that shall remain unmentioned here). I think there isn't a demo version for the latest version (9.x), but there used to be trial versions for the older ones (7 or 8); you might still be able to find those (I am sure Ben will be coming along shortly with that information).
