Thank you for answering the question.
Off the top of your head, can you list a few older devices that would support debugging while using the IR port? I would think the best thing for me to do is pick one up on ebay.
My other device is a Clie T615, but as far as I know I can't debug with that.
You can debug with the T615C, but you need to get a serial cable -- USB debugging doesn't work for this device.
I'd suggest the Visor Prism as a good device for this kind of work; a Visor Platinum or Pro should also work. The Palm m500 or m505 could also work well, but I'd avoid the m515, as it doesn't seem to work with USB debugging in our tests.
