Ben,

Thank you for your continued great support.

I went out and bought a serial cable for my Sony T615. I was in fact
able to start a debugging session with it.

However, I can't get it to receive a beam while in debugging mode.
Normally I would enter "shortcut" .. i and the device would start
listening for a beam. No such luck with the Clie! It just erases the
shortcut command and does not respond to the incoming beam. I then
tested sending an outgoing beam and it gave me an error: "Could not
initialize library."

Again, am I doing something wrong or does the Clie just not allow beaming
while in debug mode? It does run the dragonball VZ processor (I think).

If the Clie just doesn't allow beaming while in debug mode, do I have to
worry about the same thing with any of the other models that you
mentioned before as being possible candidates for use in debugging
beaming? My concern is that some of the devices might allow debuggin in
general, but will they be like the Clie and not allow access to the
beaming library?

I don't want to go out and buy another Palm device for the purpose of
debugging incoming beams only to find out that it too won't let me do it.

Thanks again for the help.

-Sean
