Flashget, from a quick read of the docs, appears to make multiple
connections to the server, each requesting a different offset in the file.
That would consume a considerable amount of http processes; one for each
connection. Now multiply that across the hundreds of other people trying
to download this file through their various methods. You can see why you
get connection problems and stalled downloads.
Please don't use download "managers" that abuse the server by
making an enormous amount of connections per-client. It only hurts all the
other users who are trying to use the services provided also.
