Just to make sure I'm not re-invtenting the wheel, you mean the simple
sound functions for producing sound? It seems like there are no
functions for sampled sound that will synthesize a note.

I knew there was something wrong with that method. Thanks for this info.
I think I'll go with my own synthesis. I'm in no hurry :)
