What devices does it succeed on? T2? Sony Clie (TG50)? What operations are carried out at start-up? Do you register for notifications (eg, I had a crash on startup caused by saving a connection profile that worked fine on some devices and crashed others)? Does the app crash if your non-global launch behaviour is removed? Many apps carry out installation checks when first installed. These can sometimes work fine on the simulator but fail on certain devices.
