This tells us that it is crashing using the sync notification which is sent to the application whenever its databases are changed during HotSync (including its program database). The crash is probably something that fails on ARM-based devices, but is harmless on the 68K devices. It would be useful to try this out with the Palm OS Emulator with all debug checks turned on using a debug Palm OS 4 ROM image; that should give some insight into its incorrect behavior.
