somtimes even the first step can be daunting. :(
I might not spell stuff correctly or have the right names, cause im on a slow computer
and dont want to be refreshing windows at getting cgynwin correctly spelled as i am
sure you will know what i am refering to. any ways.
i have cgynwin and all the rest of the stuff installed, I do NOT have nore do i plan
to get, CODE WARRIOR, i have many othe compilers tho, includeing this g++, and in
following the istructions to make a c++ project it says that i can compile the hello
world app useing the makefile i also was instructed to create. the makefile (these
files are word for word from and can be found in the project examples) uses g++ and
the command line shoes up, but alas no activity of any sort like compileing goes on at
all, and no exe file is created.
is it that codewarrior, not a popular compiler on the windows PC platform, is the only
accepted compiler?
if not, i dont think it is, then where do I specify that i wish to use the g++
compiler and tell it where it is located?
i sure would like to be able to get c++in on my palm, this small basic is not at ALL
interesting to me.
this gnu compiler i am sure would do it, and i am sure that if i pathed up and created
a bat file to compile the helloworld that then i would have an executable to continue
learning with, but that is not how it says it is to be done in the instructions. it
mearly says right click the project and choose build all.
