Jpeg images are stored in a number of formats:
- classical jfif format used on the card
- built-in cameras (treo, zire, spectec, sony; veo is a special case as they
use their own format) use some easy envelope above this format - a stream or
similar.
Concerning the treo, they offer special API for access to the image data -
check treo materials on the pluggedIn site.

file. Are each Jpeg file stored in seperate database or in same database in
different records ?
Impossible unless you have some apriori information. It is the sender
decision how the socket name field is filled. Binary data stored will be
probably in the jfif format disregarding from the origin (ram or card file).
I.e. the original stream (or another) envelope will be stripped off. There
is no trace about the data origin.
