There is no need for converting .rcp to .rsrc, Codewarrior supports both. The error probably be the fact that your current PilRc version is newer than that sample was created. Try opeing the .rcp file alone, you may get a version incompatibility error[not too sure though..]. If that is the error, just recreate the same rcp file with your pilrc version supported, and it will work
