Hi Oscar,

I think you may be referring to Palm's Addit application. Addit does have both automatic hot sync and wireless updating capabilities for third party applications. Addit also allows you to process purchases directly from within your application wirelessly or via hot sync. We will soon be shipping a new version that supports subscription billing as well. Addit is shipping on the ROM of the T5, LifeDrive, Tx and Z22 handhelds currently. The desktop conduits are part of the Palm Desktop default install on the last three. I can't talk about future device plans.

Several developers are taking advantage of the auto update functionality although we have not publicly released the API's at this stage. If Addit is not on the target device you could include it as part of your installation if the auto update functions are a key part of your application. Email me directly if you are interested in using Addit for your application updates.

Hi,
Palm announced some time ago their product OTA Over The Air to enable
handhelds update applications and databases over the internet.
This product consists on several components, in the PDA and in the server.
They promised the PDA component to be bult in the rom.
The question I have is how to know if this functionallity is included in the
Handspring Treo 600 or 650

Regards
Oscar
