Indeed, but it means, like I wrote earlier, that you cannot perform this test once and for all upon starting up your program.

Too bad Palm didn't implement software control over the T3 slider, like for the floppy drive on a Mac ;)


By the same token, can a landscape-capable device be detected? I do:

if ( SysGlueTrapExists( pinSysGetOrientation ) )

but this returns false on a T3 :(

Isn't that only true if the DIA compatibility PRC's are not installed? And if
they aren't installed, you can't switch the orientation yourself anyway.


I don't know, this is what I observed on the T3 Simulator. Does it need those PRCs too?
