We usually get a few L.A. reportersup here after a quake wanting to take pictures of cracks in the walls, but this one being at night instead of the wee hours of the morning, meant they had to content themselves with a few phoned in interviews and a CalTech seismologist explaining how it was an aftershock of the last big quake we had here, 9 years ago.

I live in Kentucky on a fault line. Instead of big ones, we have monthly or sometimes weekly little earthquakes. Our biggest ones only register around M2.2. They don't move much, but can give you the feeling of butterflies in your stomach like going over a hill fast in an old car. Did you have goobers running around asking people if they felt it? Now those guys are fun! ----- Original Message ----- From: Paul McCool To: MCL ; [EMAIL PROTECTED] ; [email protected] Sent: Friday, December 05, 2008 10:34 PM Subject: [Papermodels II 33100] OT- Hey, we just had an earthquake! Only a small one, M5.5 according to the USGS website. But, they're always fun. My mom lives in a mobile home, and she said her place really shook.
