Well, I knew it was related to the Base, somehow.  That's the only reason 
anyone ever has for going to the Stumps.  You wouldn't recognize it here, now.  
K-Mart is long gone (the building is now a mostly empty "mall") and there's a 
new Home Depot on the east end of town.  We had a ton of growth during the 
housing boom six years ago, but there's a ton of brand new houses that are 
boarded up because the market tanked.
