I use the Fiskars small shears or the Wal Mart Bumble Bee with teflon
coating for 98% of my cutting.  The rest I do with #12 hook blade
scapel in a couple different X-Acto style handles, or the scapel
handle.  The large soft Fisker handle looks interesting.  The hook
blade lets me see what I am cutting and is sharp enough for anyone,
just keep away from klutzes and kids :-)  I still use Crayola color
pencils or Sharpie Colors for the edges of the paper.
