Have you tried OLFA's compass knives for cutting circles? Good stuff. I even
used to use them for plastic models.

I have two knives that I use, both are very asian. One is like an exacto
knife, but the blade is one fifth the size. You can buy 100s of them for next
to nothing and use the same clamping handle for years. The other is a hobby
knife that is popular here made by OLFA. it is their XA-1 and comes with a
REALLY SHARP blade. I never used to like the hobby style knife with
retractable and break off blades, but this one made me a believer!

But how many do you actually use?

We all have favourite knives, but if you are like me you have collected
others.

I have one that I use all the time - It's an exacto no 2. Has rubber grips
and pompoms on it. (yes, you read that right.. 2 pompoms from my daughters
socks.... Hey, there were just *there* and I had to.. you know?...)
I have a no1 exacto, but it's too skinny for my fingers, and about 5 other
knives that I've either impulse bought, or have bought with a board as a set,
or just for the blades. They just flop around in my suitcase.

    Ok, your turn. :)
