Paul,

I like the glue sticks also. They work great if you have a long tab (such as a
rocked tube) to attach. Lets you work the entire length without getting glue
every where, hold in place and t hen can be burnished down for a firm hold. I
haven't had any delamination problems (yet, anyway).

Great for trailing edges on wings and the like and for small area laminations.

Letting the white glue tack up to your build need works best. If carefully and
thinly applied and allowed to dry there won't be wrinkles.

A very thin application will set up very fast and neatly.

I tried the glue sticks and they seem to de-laminate after a period of time
that I do not see with either Aleenes tacky glue or regular white glue.

I usually let the white glue set a bit and thicken up before using it.

Maybe I need to go back for a 3rd grade refresher course in how to use glue
sticks they would be easier and probably cleaner to use.

I agree with Dennis, the elmer's glue is too wet. ?Every time I've

ever used it, I've regretted it. ?I stick with the glue sticks. ?They

go on sale around school time too, just the generic staple's ones work

nicely.
