Ah yes! August is Paper modeler's month. Labeled Back To School by the politically correct, it is the time to stock up on modeling supplies. A case of Elmer's 4oz glue for a buck, twenty nine, thiry seven. Aileen's tacky glue, 5 gallon buckets two bucks each, Fiskars $20.00 scissors, 39 cents each ( limit 200 pairs per person). 100 pack Sharpie fine tip markers 9 cents. Coloered pencils, box of 50, free to the first six customers, Etc, Etc, ETc
I really stock up at this time of year. So when I do a Children's Modeling Workshop I can provide all the materials at no cost to participants and let the kids take glue, scissors and extra model pages home. Of course the largest cost is still the ink for the model pages we use, but even there my vendor gets them for me at $5 a cartridge.
