I like the Elmer's School Glue because I can make a mess with it, then clean it up easily with just water and a rag. I can never build a model or glue anything together without making a mess. I also like that I can spread it a little thicker on those flat parts where you have to line up the front and back because the parts slide easy over each other.
If any of you have a Walgreens drug store near you, their back to school sale has Elmer's glue 6 - 4oz bottles for a dollar. If you don't mind the cheaper Ross brand of glue, the school and glue-all are only 15 cents for a 4oz bottle at Family Dollar Store. I've been hitting all the sales.
