Hey folks, I've been working on a paper model of an anime girl for the last week. She's a pretty good scale, with ankles about 1cm wide. She's also ridiculously lightweight and stands no chance of sitting up on her stand.
So I've been thinking about how to weigh her down. My first thought was to glue pennies in her butt. After thinking about it for a while longer, I thought about filling her with dried beans. I just so happen to have a can of dried soybeans sitting behind me with nothing to do. I was thinking the weight distribution would be more natural doing this, and further it'd help stop the model from being squished if it gets bumped. So has anyone ever tried this? Did it work out well? I was also thinking of using a few vanilla or coffee beans to make her smell nice. ;) It's an interesting model. It required me to use red construction paper (only red paper I had) to print out a couple of the pages. Never had an ink-saving model like that before. http://alclione-papermodels.blogspot.com/2009/09/evangelion-asuka.html Jon --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Papermodels II" group.
