HMV - Hamburger Modellbaubogen Verlag - is I believe a wholly owned imprint of Scheuer and Struever. They have also just acquired the Wilhelmshaven (Moewe) company name and back stock - if that dies too because of the Scheuer and Struever's troubles that will be a real blow.
As a supplier to S&S I am dissappointed to potentially lose a market but I also do feel for the staff there in these uncertain times. Yes the shipping costs can be high but the range they carry is huge - with many card models unobtainable elsewhere. I will be keeping my eye on what develops.
