I too had problems with this system on my Epson CX-6000 all-in-one printer.
The system depends on ink tubes running from the ink tanks outside the printer
to the inside cartridge replacement tanks that hold the ink in place of the
"normal" ink cartridges.

On my Epson printer the cartridge carriage holding the ink tanks passed
under a flat shelf on one end of the track for the cartridges.

The carriage would "jam" under this shelf and lock up as well as pinching
the tubes that supplied the ink.

Many calls and photos back and forth with the company did not solve the
problem and they would NOT refund even a portion of my payment when I returned
the system.

It seems that MOST HP printers work well with these systems so I hope you
have better luck that I did with my Epson printers.

Just a note, on MOST HP and other brands of printers the Print Head is
located in the cartridge, on Epson printers the Print Head is located in the
carriage that holds the cartridges. If you do not print even a test page once
every 3 or 4 days, the ink in the Print Heads will clog the head and it's a big
job and LOTS of wasted ink trying to unclog them.

I used CIS for my epson printer last year, I don't know the reason why but the
printouts were not of the quality that the regular Ink Cartridge gave me.
However due to very low cost, I used it for most of my papercraft projects.
There is one small catch i.e. you need to take printouts regularly otherwise
the ink might get dry resulting in various problems in Printer.

Now instead of CIS I am using compatible cartridges, they cost a bit more but
are much more printer friendly.

FYI: CIS in India is extremely cheap, I got mine for less than US $30 and most
of the time price vary in between $25-$45.

This is what I've found so far in Australia. Looks like a nice idea - but at
the moment, I'm buying my ink from overseas for my big printer. 6 cartridges
for the price of 1. :D

I bought one for my printer, HP K5400. Very good, and very economic. My printer
have printer heads independent of the cartdrige, so I can replace the heads
when they gone. But the motherboard of the printer is gone :(
I don't remember how many models I printed with this CIFS. The printer software
say that I used 9 black cartdriges! For the price of two :)

I just got my CIFS in the mail today. I was getting tired of shelling out
$40 minimum every time I needed to refill my printer (which is quite
frequently, as I have gotten the wife and kids into paper modeling). I'll
keep you posted on the results.
