Jim, With that clarification, the problem is more likely with whatever you're using to download the files. If you're simp0ly clicking on the files in IE, try a right-click "Save As ..." on each link instead; that should ensure that the .ZIP files get onto your hard drive without your computer trying to open them automatically on-line. Remember where you save them and extract each .ZIP file (right-click 7Zip > "extract here"). Then and only then open the .PDF files with Reader. Out of curiosity, can you send me one of the .ZIP files you downloaded? It may give me a clue to what's going on.
