Canon. No doubt, Canon.
I have had just about every maker and Canon has been the most reliable
hands down (Lexmark gave us all fits). Canon also has great sharpness
(Brother is on the blurry side). Only the Epson super high end
professional printers can do it better but, oh, are they expensive.
Canon ink is about average and they will accept the aftermarket inks
(Kodak and Lexmark both drink Ink like my Uncle drank Gin)
All my shop printers and even my home printer have been Canon. They
also make great cameras and have wonderful Customer Service.
