Dear all, I am sad to have to tell you that Alvar Hansen, Warsaw, has passed away in an heart attack. Far too young. Alvar was an inspiring person who as designer, model builder and pedagog among many other tasks led the Schreiber-Bogen model programme into a new life. I have enjoyed his models, I have enjoyed his book on Card Modelling (the best one I know on the subject) and I have enjoyed his Schreiber-bogen films on youtube. But most of all, I have enjoyed him as a good friend. I have such difficulties to see a world without him. Gunnar
