This is very tragic news.
I first met Alvar ten years ago when David Hathaway brought him to the
RAF Halton model show. By coincidence, I had the Schreiber HP-42 model
which Alvar had designed, and it won a prize.. There's still a pic on
my web pages.. And there's a report of the following year's show which
has a photo of of Alvar and yourself, Gunnar.

He will be very sadly missed.
