I ran into the same problem a month or so ago and asked about it on the
list, but didn't get an answer.  I'm not sure what the problem is.

It must be ittermitent, though - I had reports from my users out in the
field that the PAR-compiled .exe was running fine on XP for them.  But for
the new Dell/XP Home system I had, I couldn't get the .exe to run.
