...which has just been committed, but I reworked the logic significantly to reduce code duplication.
Also sha1.c had a bug that tested for "#ifndef U8", where it should really be "#ifndef U8TYPE".
Both should be in the snapshot version now. If your holiday is still ongoing, please test it a bit. :-)
