I cannot see if the mail is coming from a maintainer or a user.
I thought RT-replies are always from the maintainers?

The bug is NOT resolved. It is still there with PAR::Packer 1.005 and
strawberry perl 5.12

Sorry, I was in the wrong window (wrong VM), here is the correct one:

C:\strawberry\cpan\build>perl -v
