Re: migration from svn to git, Jonathan Leto pointed out svn2git (C++/Qt 
version on gitorious, not the ruby one on github), which has helped our group 
tremendously in migration efforts.  There isn't much in the way of 
documentation, but it worked very quickly and allows rules for some flexibility.
