merging trunk into auto_libjit after pcc_reapply generated a patch that
was too large.
New strategy:
* create a new branch from trunk
* apply patches from TT#1147 (pre_merge.patch)
* merge auto_libjit into new branch (merge.patch)
* fix errors in new branch (post_merge.patch)
This generates a new branch that 1) has pcc_reapply, 2) has libjit work,
3) passes make test.
