My understanding is that this has been proposed. But there will still be older systems around so there should be a way to modify and display the status of the flag. My main question with these patches is what people think about the change to the output formatting in interactive and machine mode. I would hope that nobody is parsing the output of interactive mode other than the parted tests which I've already updated. machine mode may cause some problems, depending how people implement their parsing but that should be easy for them to fix. -- Brian C.
