I have a BS in CS (I also think that sounds funny to say) and debating a Masters of some type. But I'm not sure if I want to spend the cash for the MS after dropping a ton on the BS. One of my father-in-law's professors said this about the degree chain:

BS - self explanatory
MS - More of the Same
PhD - Piled Higher Deeper

I keep wondering about that as I look on the return I have had on the BS for the cost. Perhaps it will open some doors for me later. We shall see.

Though I am learning a lot about business and enjoying myself, I am also not so sure about it either. It seems like a lot of the things are busy work BUT I know this is the only way, besides internal promotion, that you will be able to get to a management decision.

I really would like to manage, because I think I could make the biggest difference in the organization in such a role.
