Ok ke Mafrika Sijila
I by no means dispute the setting up of the commision of inquiry to deal
with the issue, in fact I support it. However, we need to eveluate a few
things. What will this inquiry do that a court of law cannot do?
Remembering that a commision of inquiry is by its nature judicial, by
virtue of being headed by a Judge. What about its powers; what will be
the binding nature,if any, of its findings? The assertion that a pending
Zuma prosecution is a waste of "taxpayers money" is disturbing for a few
reasons. It implies' among other things' that commissions of inquiry are
"tapayers money" free. Secondly it means that it is the only case that
is state sponsored. It's not like uZuma uleqwa engaphethananga bhola apha
ma Afrika. For that matter,he is the one who called for his day in court
as early as 2004/5.And now that what he had asked for is drawing closer,
he is wasting more than which the taxpayer has, seeking all available
legal remedies,in trying to avoid a court day. Forget what Nguka said in
2003, which is considered in the legal corridors as probably the worst
utterances in his legal career, and let Zuma rebut what the public
opinion holds of him in a court of law. As I said M'afrika Sijila that I
decided not to take serious people who defend Zuma, now I'm further
dissapointed nawe you had to be drawn into such.I reiterate that, that
other than baseless assertions, but I find no rational, logical, political
basis for his defence.Well, legally, i will let a court on that one, for
I can not usurp its duty. Realy M'frika, trust me, he is not worth the
trouble that you and noo Ma'frika Plaatjie seeking to stand for. There
was nothing out of context about my expression of dissapointment at
Thami's proclamation on the Zuma saga .Or do you also want to say he was
being misquoted/misconstrued by the media, ala the vavi's and malema's
of this world.Oh please!!!
Come on ma Afrika, I never thought you could stoop so low, for Zuma
nogal. There are many other issues in the country and continent that
are of Pan Africanist concern, hay le into, thyini!!!!

Comrades have a tendency of listening selectively and taking issues out
context. What PAM is calling for is the setting of the Commission of
Inquiry into the whole Arms Deal saga, regardless of who said what
previously w.r.t. the matter. Why chase one man in the whole issue
whilst
a number of current and former cabinet ministers, and those who are no
more, are implicated in the messy, Arms deal chicanery.
Second, the whole thing is a waste of the taxpayer's money, as if one
man
and one man only did have corrupt relationship with those companies that
bidded for Arms deal purchase.
It is a fact that over a period of more than 5 years, JZ has been
investigated, and comrades should also remember what Bulelani Ngcuka
said,
as the then Scorpions' Head, he had a prima facie evidence to prosecute
Zuma, deliberately leaving a dark cloud over him.
PAM, comrades do not care to mention this: Has come out in support of
the
formation of the United States of Africa, as Cde Muammar Gaddafi has
consistently been saying. WE are for unity of the African people, in the
continent and in the Diaspora.
Some leaders conveniently choose to remain silent, as they did with
Khutsong and similar developments, and start to find fault with those
take
the initiative of dealing with political issues, in public political
arena.
