Sons and daughters of Africa

Firstly, censorship of any sort is unacceptable in a forum like this. We must
encourage contributions from all angles, so as to add to the diversity of
opinions and to enrich the quality of information, and that critical thinking
and a high level of debate applies. Cde Ndebele has said a mouthful on the
purpose and vision.

We must however guard against dumbing down and trivialising matters of national
importance. Even humour should not be spared from criticism, so that the good
quality prevails in line with our common values. I do feel that the toilet
humour that was placed on PAYCO google from Daily Sun pages is itself in bad
taste and unsuitable for this platform. Sexuality education can be carried
in many satirical ways, with decency and tact, without abusing the elderly and
African womanhood. Most of what passes as humour on social media is often naked
tribalism and sexist trash.

Having pointed this out, dear comrades, we must acknowledge our
responsibilities to inform, educate and entertain young people in an idiom they
like and enjoy. We shouldn't be harsh and intolerant of views and opinions we
do not prefer, simply because we do not like those who present them.

In the absence of Party programmes, the PAYCO forum has taken a dynamic role to
keep the Africanists together. The PAC has a legal crisis stemming from
deliberate sabotage by unscrupulous characters. We must restore the Party
constitution and elect a legitimate leadership at properly convened forums such
as the Annual Conference and the Congress. The charlatans follow this PAYCO
forum and even participate in its deliberations - but have (de-recognised) the
PAYCO leadership. For this reason, we must be forthright in protecting PAC
values and separating chaff from the genuine article.

Ndebele is right. Most of us have day jobs that keep us from inter-active
communication regularly. I'm self employed and do three different business
activities daily, at a strategic level, and it gets hectic at times. But we
must all make the platform vibrant and relevant, to the benefit of
revolutionary Pan Africanism.

Comrade Seroke:

I am bid confused now about some circulation within PAYCO. It seems all sorts
of daily matters are circulated. wasn't the initial intention of this
circulation to discuss political matters. What has Happened to the following
comrades

Mawande Jack
Cunningham
Congress
And others, have the political discussions died
