Robert,

RockBox does not work with the current crop of Archos units, including the
Gmini and all of the AV series. Unfortunately, the units that can run the
RockBox firmware are no longer made, or sold in any retail establishments
that I have seen so far. I even tried finding them on Amazon, and they show
up as being discontinued or no longer carried. Your best bet will probably
be Ebay. Below is a url to a table that shows the various units RockBox
works with and their differences...

Best regards,

Subject: RE: Archos and Rock Box

Hi,

I am finding the different versions of Archos players and recorders a bit
confusing. On the Circuit City web site, they are selling a Archos Gmini
120 20GB MP3 Jukebox. Does this one work with the Rock Box talking
software? Is this different from the Archos recorder v2?

Thanks,

Robert Carter
