hello chrissie,
i've just received one of these usb tv tuners from pcnextday, and am wondering if they have changed the model their selling. i haven't installed it yet, but you said that yours has it's own tiny aerial, but the one i've received only has the rf socket for connecting an external aerial that protrudes out from the casing by about half an inch. could you describe what your aerial is like and was it already connected or did you have to connect it. if it is the same model then they've reduced the price to 58 pounds plus pence. thanks. pete gurney. Hi Guys The tv box I have was got from pcnextday ltd, an on-line store. Unfortunately I don't have anyone sighted here at the moment so can't see the make nor model number as I've forgotten it would you believe, but I really have been very pleased with it. it's about the size of a 20 pack of cigarettes, plugs into the usb socket and has it's own tiny antenna. I didn't think it would even work with it but it does, mind you I'm in quite a good area, but a good roof antenna will certainly work with it. All features are easily accessable with speech including the electronic programme guide and you can schedule it via the guide to record things both on radio and television, for time shifting. If you're going to use it on a notebook machine as I do you need to disable power management as it's a bit powr hungry but it really is excellent.
