I think, I'd buy an older Sony recorder via Ebay. If you want something,
which can be connected to a PC, the ICD-BP100 is great. If you don't
need this, the ICD-B25 is a good note taker. Both recorders have LPEC.
they don't have a five way key and one can speak immediately after the
record button beep. The BP100 has switches for voice activated recording
and microphone sensitivity. These settings have to be adjusted via the
menu system on the B25.
