What exactly do you mean by direct streams? I'm wondering if perhaps you 
are under a misconception about what Total Recorder does. If you're 
looking for a program to record, say, an MP3 stream off the Net and save 
it as an exact duplicate of what was downloaded in MP3 with no quality 
loss, Total Recorder will not do this for you.

Try setting total recorder back to soundboard, instead of software.

call using skype. I can use the instant messaging facility, but every time I
try to place a call to either another skype user or using skype out, skype
crashes. The only reason that I know this is an issue with total recorder,
is because, every time total recorder is uninstalled, this never ever
