combining 2 wave files

Hi everyone. Recently on this list someone asked about using GoldWave to 
splitt one file into several. My situation is the exact opposite. I have 2 
spoken word wave files, each representing one side of a cassette. I now need 
to combine them into one wave file using GoldWave. Can someone suggest a 
method of doing this seamlessly? Eventually the files will be in MP3 format, 
so if it's easier to split the files as MP3s, that would be fine as well. 
The important aspect is that the 2 files end up combined.  Any thoughts on 
the best way to go about it?
