A system restore?  You mean the method for undoing changes you've made in 
Windows?  I don't understand how this would help.  Nothing disappeared.  I 
uninstalled a program.  This wasn't an accident.  It was intentional.  And 
now I'm having problems installing it once again.  I wouldn't want to 
referse the uninstall, because that wouldn't help me learn what the problem 
is about.  And that's what I want to fix.  Thanks.
