Chris,
that sounds cool. Believe me, not to be a wimp about it, but the last thing
I want to mess with is an interface that requires all that Wild West messing
around with the Jaws cursor and the num pad mouse keys. If that's the only
way to navigate a program, I am disinclined to bother with it. So this
sounds like a meaningful improvement.

One question: If podcasting is so fashionable that it even has its own
blind mailing list, how come no one's writing Jaws scripts for Ipodder or
another of those programs? it seems like a natural thing that ought to be
happening, don't you think?

thanks again,
Daniel

Hi Dan
Actually, I'm not offering the beta version at my site, but I certainly
could if it would be convenient? Basically, there are a few different
improvements, one being that you no longer have to do all kinds of right
clicks and jaws cursor routing acrobatics to make sure your favorite shows
are downloaded. Now, you can simply press the space bar on a show title in
the list view. By default, the first show is usually marked for download,
while all subsequent ones are marked as skipped. Well, in this new beta
version, you can simply press the space bar on an episode marked as skipped
and it is then changed to download. this way it's a whole lot easier to
make sure your fave shows are downloaded as I said before. For now, you
can do a search for iPodder 2.1 beta 1 and I bet you'll find it. Simply
install right over the top of your existing iPodder version and it'll
upgrade you to the latest and greatest.
