Goldwave is about $50.00 or so. personally, I would save the money and buy 
Soundforge, for I believe editing is so much easier with it than Goldwave. I 
haven't bought soundforge for quite a few years, so the studio streamlined 
version 
might be about $60.00, while the full version with the noise reduction might be 
around $400.00 or so. you may want to search for a free version of wavepad and 
try 
that for an editor too. editing tape sometimes was much easier than using 
goldwave, especially if you have a three head machine. soundforge uses window 
commands like that are used in a word processor.
