If the Zen Stone can only be recharged via the USB port.. .this
shouldn't pose too much of a problem as you can get A C adapters that
allow you plug a USB connection in, so you can charge it that way. Just
like the way I pods are charged.

Yes, if you prefer normal batteries, you might checkout the iRiver T50
and T60. Not quite as cheap as the Stone, but more powerful and not
too
expensive either.
