Can you set the SB Live to be the default sound card and get system sounds
from it? If no, you may need to disable some Creative utilities in
Msconfig. If you do get sound from the SB live you can get the internal
sound card to be the default and set Winamp to use the SB Live. You want to
make sure that only use preferred devices is not checked in Sounds and Audio
devices on the audio page.. Then go to the output plug-in in Winamp and
configure it to use the sblive. It should show up as a device if the card
is properly installed and available in sounds and audio devices.
