On non copyright DVD disks that I have here and should be the same for commercial ones but I am not sure the y all use the .vob file extensions. These .vob files are found in the DVD disks within the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy all these .vob to your hard drive. Can be up to 4+ GB these file syou copy to your hard drive. Now change those .vob files you have on your hard drive to .mpg - that is rename each .vob to .mpg
