If you have winamp control tab to the playlist editor add the tracks you wish then save as you would any other program.

The path answer seemed to be the correct one. Actually, I had neglected to extract the zip files into their own folder so it didn't know where to look. So now to an even more basic question. How does one create a play list? Hey, I told you you'd laugh. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Barry Chapman Sent: Thursday, May 07, 2009 4:34 AM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: What am I doing wrong? If Winamp is going straight to the end, it means it can't find any of the files. Either you don't have the full file path for your files (e.g. C:\...) and the playlist file is in a different folder than the files, or there is some other problem with the file names in the playlist file. Are you able to open the playlist file in Notebook and look at it? Ok, this is probably an elementary question so I'll just say that now before you all start laughing. I've decided that I'd like to play some of my albums in order as they appear. So a couple of them now have ready made M3U files but when I open them they seem to go straight to the end of the file and though Winamp is open it tells me "track 15 stopped" as an example. Am I doing something wrong? As long as I've played with this stuff I've never once touched a play list, which is why I say I am assuredly elementary in this arena. So what am I doing wrong? Many thanks.
