Dear Dana and Doc, I'm a little confused. The advice of both of you involved converting an existing .mp3 sound file to .wav format, and somehow or other making it mono.
But aren't .WAV files huhge? Isn't that's what's on a commercial CD? Is this any good for an .mp3 player like my Sansa, or will a few tunes fill up the 2 Gb capacity? All you have to do is, convert the MP3 files to *.wav. It will give you some options to choose from. Just select the one that suits you best. Then after that, just click the convert button, and you're all sat! But if you need to convert the files back to *.mp3, just use Switch to do it. But only, select *.mp3 as the file type and then click the convert button. Hope this helps. My best regards. John. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dana S. For the format of your output file choose WAV (standard). When this format is selected, The bit rate selection drop-down will include several mono options. If you need some other format for your player to recognize the file, I suppose you can reconvert it, and, since the source file will now be mono, so will the second output file. Hope that works.
