Hmm, well wrong polarity can do funny things to those machines, keep your eyes and ears open as I'm sure you've got a specialist repair centre as we have which specialise in Cassette Decks/walkmans, high-end CD players etc.
The firm I'm thinking of here - Scientific Control - don't advertise, I only heard about them through word of mouth, that was 20 or so years ago but they've been going for a lot longer. Having said all that though, if its going to cost an arm and a leg then perhaps it may be better to let your Sony Walkman Pro die and get some sort of a digital replacement such as a Zoom H1 which can be purchased together with a fairly decent kit of accessaries for less than $150.00 On 24/02/2011, at 10:01 PM, KEN REED wrote: > Hi, the first thing was that , I lost the power supply.
